BAD AMERICAN

I receive this in an email today,  please read through.

Give it some thought.  I'd like to hear from you.

BAD AMERICAN {YOU DON'T NEED TO KNOW MY NAME}

YES, I'M A BAD AMERICAN

I Am the Liberal-Progressives Worst Nightmare. I am an American.

I believe the money I make belongs to me and my family, not some Liberal governmental functionary be it Democratic or Republican!

I'm in touch with my feelings and I like it that way!

I think owning a gun doesn't make you a killer; it makes you a smart American.

I think being a minority does not make you noble or victimized, and does not entitle you to anything.

I believe that if you are selling me a Big Mac, do it in English.

I believe everyone has a right to pray to his or her God when and where they want to.

My heroes are John Wayne, Babe Ruth, Roy Rogers, and whoever canceled Jerry Springer.

I don't hate the rich. I don't pity the poor.

I know wrestling is a fake and I don't waste my time watching or arguing about it.

I've never owned a slave, nor was a slave,

I haven’t burned any witches or been persecuted by the Turks and neither have you! So, shut up already.

I believe if you don't like the way things are here, go back to where you came from and change your own country!

This is AMERICA. If you were born here and don't like it you are free to move to any Socialist country that will have you.

I want to know which church is it exactly where the Reverend Jesse Jackson preaches, where he gets his money, and why he is always part of the problem and not the solution. Can I get an AMEN on that one?

I also think the cops have the right to pull you over if you're breaking the law, regardless of what color you are. And, no, I don't mind having my face shown on my drivers’ license.

I think it's good..... And I'm proud that ‘God’ is written on my money.

I think if you are too stupid to know how a ballot works, I don't want you deciding who should be running the most powerful nation in the world for the next four years.

I dislike those people standing in the intersections trying to sell me stuff or trying to guilt me into making 'donations' to their cause.

I believe that it doesn't take a village to raise a child, it takes two parents.

I believe 'illegal' is illegal no matter what the lawyers think.

I believe the American flag should be the only one allowed in AMERICA!

If this makes me a BAD American, then yes, I’m a BAD American.

If you are a BAD American too, please share this to everyone you know.

We want our country back!

We NEED GOD BACK IN OUR COUNTRY!

WE LIVE IN THE LAND OF THE FREE, ONLY BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE

This made me think, I pray it does the same for you?!

When did it become BAD to be a GOOD AMERICAN, when did we stop believing in our COUNTRY?

We are the UNITED STATES of AMERICA - We need to remember why we live here and not in another country.

In this election year, please care enough to look at the place you live, the life you have been given.  Be smart in the choices you make.  Study the candidates and what they stand for, the choices they have made.   Share information.  Don't just follow the crowd.  Stand up for yourself!  BE proud to be an AMERICAN.

There is a quote by Frank Outlaw that has become a inspiration upon which we should all live:

"Watch your thoughts; they become words.  Watch your words; they become actions.  Watch your actions; they become habits.  Watch your habits; they become character.  Watch you character; it becomes your destiny."

Hook line & sinker

Oh, I am hooked on sailing.  It is such a blast to be out there with the wind in control.  Every move you make effects how you move through the water.

Thank you Mom you are the best.  Yes, we should add to the collection. (Someday)

The first one in our class went in the water yesterday.  He did get kudos from our instructor for not taking the boat with him.  He was boarding from the bow had ahold of the mast, but his height did him in, made the center of  gravity too high.  He hadn't yet got the center board lowered, which made for an unstable situation.  The smart thing he did was let go so the boat leveled out, he was just too far from the dock on the side.  So in the water he went.

If you haven't guessed yet:  it was none other than my husband that went in the water.  At least it was a comfortable 64 degrees.  I was a good wife & didn't pick on him (too much).  Especially since I could always be next.  We are smart usually have empty pockets when we go out.  He only has a soggy wallet.  After two hours out on the water he was pretty much dry.

The wind was not a good as it could have been, but a heck of a lot better than the Santa Ana gusts we were getting last week.  I'm disapointed I will miss the last class.  I have to be at our Women's Retreat.  I'm on the Board & giving my first message in two weeks.  But looking forward to more sailing classes, I'm hooked.

GRADUATION

Becca  is being promoted tomorrow from middle school to high school.  They call it graduation.  I have spent the last few day making her dress.  It has turned out to be just what she asked for.  I think mom did good this time.

My youngest daughter will be in High School - UGH!   Where did the time go?

The boys will make the transitition next year.   We'll see how dad handles that one.

My high achieving young lady has received her first assignment for Cal High School.  Which is due just before we leave to go to Virginia to spend ten days with our wonderful family.   Her second assignment is due within days of school starting.  She will be very busy with Honors classes, Davidic Dance, Youth Group, Friends & just being a Teen.

I will give you an update as to how the graduation goes.

Wow it's been a long time since I've been here.

Pray everyone is off to a good new year!

Found a nifty site that is suppose to describe who you are, what you are good at and what our inborn abilities are. It also points to what we have to learn and the challenges we are facing.  It did pretty well at describing me.  Anything that helps us be better human beings is always good.  To check out.the site click on the link below.

This really works! Try it!: http://www.sonnyradio.com/birthtest.htm

Oh, by the way I'm a # 4 - THE CONSERVATIVE sensible and traditional.  I should learn to be more flexible and to be nice to myself.

My husband is THE NONCONFORMIST

The daughter is THE INTELLECTUAL

The son's are THE PERFORMERS

What a mixture to have in one's wacky family?  Sort of explains things in ours.
